Mary J. does her ROCK OF AGES number “Anyway You Want It.” Love it.
Someone needs to write a “Flowers in the Attic” opera, but set it in like the 1800s or something like that. The Louise Fletcher movie is beyond redonk, but still very watchable.
I read “The Help” a couple of years ago and thought it would be an awesome stage show. I’m so glad Jon & Al Kaplan wrote this song for Minny (the Octavia Spencer character).
A key element missing from the ROCK OF AGES trailer is a rock star getting hit with a piece of flying scenery. Bonus points if it could be Brett Michaels.
Cast the show idea: Laura Benanti as ‘Satine’ in the MOULIN ROUGE musical.

It’s either going to be brilliant or brilliantly bad. Either way, I hope it goes to series.
